About the memorial: White Marble tablet with shallow pedimented top set on a black pattress. At the top is a wreath with crossed swords against flags with a crown above. At the bottom is a panel with a scroll bearing the Regimental Title at centre of which is the Regimental Badge. At each side are scrolls bearing Battle Honours. Inscriptions in half relief in Roman capitals.
