Description: Addition to Gravestone
About the memorial: Gravespace delineated by square kerb sections with square post to each corner, headstone inserted in top kerb and space is capped. Vertical grey headstone with half round top dropping directly to straight sides, stands on large horizontal rectangular chamfered base. Undecorated except for slight chamfer around top and sides, inscription in black lead lettering.

Appears to be George Frederick Casswell, present Holbeach 1901 with parents John and Annie Casswell. Born 1891 St Pancras, London. In Chatham, Kent 1911. Possibly George Frederick Casswell. Private 32775. 9th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed in action 27th October 1918. Enlisted Gloucester and resident Cheltenham, GLS (previous as SDGW).Interred Grave 2, A, 18, LE CATEAU MILITARY CEMETERY, Nord, France,. also commemorated Moulton All Saints, Grammar School WW1 and Moulton Pavillon, Lincolnshire
