About the memorial: The entrance to the centre is about 25 feet from the front of the building on the right hand side, the reception is to the left, in the short corridor opposite the reception on the right hand wall is a photograph of Lieutenant Colonel John William Jessop, who was Officer Commanding the 4th Battalion, The Lincolnshire Regiment (T.F.), aged 55 when killed in action. The frame measures 733 by 570mm. The dedication is on a brass plaque below.
