About the memorial: Approximate location on map. Pearson tragically died due to a mid-air collision between two Avro 504J aircraft on 20th June 1918, killing three occupants in total. Pearson has two headstones, a standard CWGC head stone and this original 1918 memorial. There is a "model" of the plane on the memorial.
