About the memorial: A brick and tile memorial hall with three cream coloured ceramic tablets set into the brickwork of the gable wall. The upper tablet is in the style of a curved strip scroll assembled from four pieces, and the central tablet is a crucifix. The lower tablet is assembled from three pieces and forms a horizontal oblong with a moulded cornice and frieze across the head and an inverted cornice and plain frieze at the foot. The centre of the lower panel has a stepped panel with the inscription and with the names in three columns. The frieze bears the names of the vicar and churchwardens at the right. The inscription is in mixed styles of raised capital lettering.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
