We pray you remember 2 brothers well beloved and gallant officers. 2nd Lieut Edwin Leonard Wood, Royal Scots Fusiliers. A mature student of rare intellectual gifts who was killed in action near Zonnebere, Sept 27, 1917 in his 23rd year. And Lieut Walter Bertram Wood MC and Bar, Hampshire Regt. And Royal Flying Corps. An Airman of singular skill and courage who met his death in the performance of his duties on Nov 11th, 1917 in his 20th year. Lovely and pleased in their lives and in death they were not divided.
