About the memorial: Lady Altar of Gothic design of many different types of marble. Predella and front composed of Carrara marble, as is the altar table whilst the caps, bases and top are Blanc P. marble; the columns, under table and front of canopy and of Rouge Levante marble; the reredos panels are inlaid with yellow sienna marble. The status is statuary marble. Inscription in black lettering on the front of the altar.- Dedicated 4 March 1921 by Dr Collins- Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle- refer The Cumberland News 6 March 1920 page 4

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.
