About the memorial: Wood and brass plaque memorial to 3854 Private Richard Keegan, 14th (The King's) Hussars. Killed in Action on Geluk Farm, mid way between Carolina and Belfast (East of Johannesburg) on 13 Oct 1900. He is commemorated on a memorial at Geluk Farm Cemetery (as Pte B Keegan of the 14th Hussars.with death date of 13 Nov 1900).
