About the memorial: Metal footbridge with plain rectangular dedicatory brass plaque attached to the South Side Rails for WW1 & WW2, which has an incised inscription, and another one on the north side rails for Afghanistan. Both these plaques are at the Giggleswick end of the bridge. The bridge connects Giggleswick with Settle.
