About the memorial: 92 Photographs in a frame. These were removed from the frame by Burton and Holme British Legion (RBL) in 1976 due to deterioration through age and damp, and restored. The originals are in the hands of the RBL, but they were made available on a CD in 2006, which is at Kendal Archives Centre. Formerly in the porch at St James' Church, Burton in Kendal.
