About the memorial: 92 Photographs in a frame. These were removed from the frame by Burton & Holme British Legion in 1976 due to deterioration through age and damp, and restored. The originals are in the hands of the RBL, but they were made available on a CD in 2006, which is at Kendal Archives Centre. Formerly in the porch at St James' Chuirch, Burton in Kendal
