About the memorial: Plain rectangular white marble tablet set within Nowy headed mottled marble frame. Inscription in black lettering black laurel garlands with ribbons carved along top of the tablet. This memorial was unveiled in May 1920, the same day as a copy plaque unveiled in United Free Church, Dunreggan, only different was the United Free Church Plaque has a frame of green marble. One service was in the morning and the second in evening. The Plaques made by Messrs Stewart, McGlasher & Son Ltd. Edinburgh. The 72 men and 1 woman are same names as on the Roll of Honour in Glencairn Institute; only order of names different on church plaques in rank order and on roll in Institute in alphabetical order.
