About the memorial: The Beaulieu housing estate in Springfield, Chelmsford UK has commemorated members of the armed services who gave their lives in World War I, by way of road signs detailing their unit and the date they were lost. Erected in 2019, "FITCH CLOSE" commemorates four members of the Fitch family. They are commemorated on the War Memorial at St Mary the Virgin Church, Boreham Road, Great Leighs, Essex.
