About the memorial: A stone plaque on the external wall of the Church Hall of St Michael's Church marking the air raid on the area in 1941. St Michael's Road was named Church Road at the time. Trees were planted in 1950 to mark those who were killed; some trees were replaced in 1992. Details of the 12 people killed, aged 2 months to 61, are on the reference. The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
