About the memorial: Very large family plot with plain rough grey granite cross on a raised 3-tier plinth. Grey granite kerbs surround the plot which has a paved top with two cross shaped flower holders in the paving. This memorial states date of death as 28 October 1918 whereas CWGC and the memorial in the former St Thomas's Church (WMO/276275) says 27 October 1918.
