If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

CAMPBELL AND MRS CAMPBELL OF SOUTH HALL 24TH OCT. 1880 KILLED IN ACTION IN FLANDERS 18TH MAY 1915/ EDUCATED AT RUGBY, HE JOINED THE ROYAL PERTH MILITIA AS 2ND. LIEUT IN 1899/ VOLUNTEERED FOR SOUTH AFRICA WITH THE 2ND BATT. THE BLACK WATCH APRIL 1900/ POSTED TO THE 1ST BATT. THE BLACK WATCH IN INDIA, DEC. 1900. RETURNED TO SOUTH/ AFRICA, DEC./ 1901. AWARDED THE QUEEN'S MEDAL AND 5 CLASPS. SERVED WITH THE/ WEST AFRICAN FRONTIER FORCE 1901 - 1910, TAKING PART IN THE KANO CAMPAIGN OF/ 1908 - MEDAL AND CLASP. PROMOTED CAPTAIN JAN. 1910, HE REJOINED THE BLACK WATCH/ AT HOME. TRANSFERRED TO THE 2ND BATT. IN INDIA 1913 AND PROCEEDED TO FRANCE WITH/ THE INDIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE OCT. 1914. WOUNDED AND INVALIDED HOME NOV. 1914/ HE RETURNED TO FRANCE, FEB. 1915 AND WAS WITH HIS REGIMENT IN ALL THE ACTIONS IN/ WHICH IT TOOK PART, INCLUDING NEUVE CHAPELLE AND RICHEBOURG - FESTUBERT UNTIL/ HIS DEATH. KILLED IN THE TRENCHES 18TH, HE WAS BURIED IN THE CEMETERY/ AT VIEILLE CHAPELLE, 20TH MAY 1915./ A DEVOTED SON AND BROTHER, A TRUE FRINED AND A FINE SOLDIER/ "I HAVE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE FINISHED MY COURSE, I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH"
