About the memorial: This family memorial is dedicated to one young soldier of the Parachute Regiment. Established 2013.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

Mark Steven Dodsworth 5th April 1958 - 12th June 1982. Age 24. At the age of 16 Mark joined the Junior Leaders Battalion. At 17 he joined 3 Para. Seven years later in the Battle for Mount Longdon during the Falklands Conflict he was shot and severely wounded whilst caring for an injured Para. During the journey to the Medical Aid Station he sadly passed away, but was comforted on the journey by Trudi McPhee one of the fighting Islanders who used their local transport to help the Para's. He is remembered here by his mum Carole, his dad Bryan, his brothers Brian and Alan, his friends and service colleagues. "Deus Vaut" - "Utrinque Paratus" Wolverhampton Parachute Regiment Association
