About the memorial: Large Roll of Honour framed and wall mounted. Dark wooden frame with repeated geometric patterning and gold edging on the inside edge. It has a green garland across the top two crests either side of the dedication and at the bottom - a Union Flag and Royal Crest. Flanking the Roll of Honour on the wall are two photographs - the first, a Welcome Home Dinner for the 16th Lancers and the second, taken of the 4th Battery, 1st N. R. Y. A. V., Western Division Royal Artillery. The Roll of Honour hang in various corridors of the hotel. It may be seen on request at the hotel reception.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
