About the memorial: 3 black granite tablets, the outer two being at a 45 degree angle to the central one, the whole on a black granite base which has a white metal dedication plaque. Between 2013 and 2021 white metal plaques were added to the base of the 2 outer tablets detailing the recent finding of the wrecks of the respective submarines.
