About the memorial: Library of some 10,000 books and an endowment fund of £2,000, the interest from which was to be used for the purchase of new books. The dedication is on a brass plaque 15cm high x 53.5cm, on the south wall, between the shelves housing the library, where it was placed following the move from the Moot Hall. The inscription in incised in Roman lettering. This memorial has been removed from the wall following the refurbishment of the library.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
