About the memorial: Sandstone tablet, formed into three panels by pilasters which arch over at the top with tracery, each having a pointed top. At the top of each panel is a badge or crest carved in half relief. The names are incised in plain letters. This is a family memorial to the Wilsons, but at the foot of the middle column there is a large crown carved in half relief. Beneath this is the name of a man who died at sea.
