On the inner doors are photographs of the eight former pupils who died. The centre panel bears a picture of St.George, with the dedication beneath, printed in gold serif capitals. The quotation "Greater love . . . " is also printed in serif capitals in the mosaic border to the picture. Beneath St.George are two further photographs of student teachers who died. Below this triptych a smaller memorial has been added to correspond, though the doors open separately. This contains the dedication and photographs for 1939-45.
