About the memorial: Wooden triptych with painting in the centre. Hand painted inscription on the left and right hand sides and at the top of the centre panel. Painting shows a young woman near a grave with foliage at her feet; laurel wreaths in the gabled top and on outside of the doors Glass covered picture in centre, entitled "Remembrance". At the top, and behind her head, is painted a tablet with a general dedication painted on. The inscriptions on insides of both doors are hand painted in a mixture of styles, Old English, some words in capitals and others in italics, in gilt with black There are laurel wreaths in the gable top, and on the outsides of the doors, at the west end of the north aisle.
