About the memorial: Handwritten Roll of Honour on lined paper in a green picture frame and with a black border. A broad panel at the top in which the heading appears and a narrow panel at the bottom which contains the plea have been created by dividing the area within the yellow-lined border with purple horizontal lines. The names are written in three columns divided by purple vertical lines, a fourth column gives a key to abbreviations. The lettering is a mixture of Roman and italics all coloured purple except for the initial letters of "Roll" and "Honour" which are yellow. In the centre top of the panel in which the heading appears is a large purple cross, in the Church porch

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
