About the memorial: A framed and glazed Roll in three sections - a back-sheet of pale pink card carrying the name of the church, upon which is affixed an arched card decorated with the flags of some of the 1914 Allies alongside a victory wreath on the staff of the Union flag, and carrying the Title of the piece. This is a pre-printed, commercially produced section of a type seen in other Rolls of Honour produced by Messrs. Smith & Young, 4 Maiden Lane, London EC. Beneath this is a large sheet of white paper upon which the names of those who served have been hand-written. On the rear (west) wall under the gallery.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
