About the memorial: Stained glass window with two lights. The left hand one has at the top the crucified figure of Christ. In the centre is a trench scene with a helmeted and kilted sentry with fixed bayonet in the foreground and two other soldiers in the background. Below this is a nurse attending to a wounded soldier in bed, and then the inscription and names. Decoration of thistles. The right hand light has a religious figure at the top, with centrally a wounded soldier being assisted by two soldiers to an ambulance. Below this is a grave with a kneeling male figure and a standing female mourner. Continuation of inscription and names. Decoration of thistles. Total of 19 names.

Grants to support the repair and conservation of war memorials are available from the charity War Memorials Trust if it has raised funds. Support is focused on war memorials in Very bad or Poor condition or where there is a serious Concern.
