About the memorial: 24 ENDOWED COTS WITH TWO DEDICATORY PLAQUES, ONE IN BRONZE AND ONE IN BRASS. The inscription is in white painted lettering using Roman capitals on the Bronze Plaque and in black lettering in elongated Roman capitals on the brass plaque which has a single line border The cots [beds] were obviously lost when the Hospital closed in 1990-1991, demolished in 1992. This is the companion to Westoe Cross, WMO?231021, aa mentioned in the dedicatory wording on that memorial. The Museum Acquisition Numbers for the plaques are TWCMS 2013.189 & 2013.192.
