About the memorial: Silver model of a 2 pounder gun on a tapered granite base. The dedication is on a silver hallmarked plaque on the top. Presented to the Regiment on 22 September 1951 and now on long term loan to Sunderland Museum. The sides of the base each carry a names plaque.
