Status: On original site
Type: Non freestanding
Location: Internal
Setting: Inside a building - public/private
Description: Board/Plaque/ Tablet
Materials:
  • Metal Metal (any)
Lettering: Raised
Conflicts:
  • First World War (1914-1918)
  • Second World War (1939-1945)
About the memorial: A pair of metal plaques- WW2 at top and WW1 below. Unusually the WW1 is a continuation of the WW2. The equally unusual discrepancy between 2 WW1 names and 15 from WW2 can be explained by looking at google street view and seeing that the area served by this church is relatively new - mostly post 1918. Unveiled 9 November 2002- the newspaper report which was on line in 2019 had been removed by June 2021.
