About the memorial: Oak Altar- "The altar is of fine oak with tracery panels and carvings in the style of the Curvilinear period of Gothic architecture. The carving is confined to a band round the top of the altar in which symbolic motives of the vine are used, the stems being intertwined through the lettering of the words: Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus". The Church was destroyed in an air raid in 1943. It was subsequently replaced by Jopling's Store which closed in 2010 and replaced in 2019 with Jopling House Student Accommodation. The Altar was lost in the bombing.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
