About the memorial: A church pipe organ by Nelsons of Durham accompanied by a dedicatory plaque. The oblong bronze plaque has an inscription in upright capital block lettering coloured white and is mounded on a battered oak backboard fitted with an overhead lamp. The organ is on the west side of the chancel the plaque is on the window cill west of the chancel arch in the nave.
