About the memorial: Stained Glass window with accompanying brass dedication plaque. Although it states he is Highland Light Infantry he was attached to RAF and the Assyrian Levies. The cause of death was cerebral malaria. The bottom line of the window inscription cannot be seen in the photograph due to the window ledge.
