About the memorial: Mercat style cross on pedestal and base. Dedicated to the Corbett family - Alice Mary Polson Corbett (d. 1902), her husband Archibald Cameron Corbett (d. 1933), son Arthur Cameron Corbett (killed 1916) and grandson John Polson Corbett (killed 1944). It stands on open land between the M77 and A77, near the junction of the A77 and B764.
