About the memorial: Octagonal Font, elaborately carved. There is a brass strip round the bowl which gives the dedication, and names plaques on three of the sides. Relocated from Coniscliffe Road Church when it was closed and demolished after 1986. Bondgate Church closed in 2020 and was offered for sale in 2021- see WMO/287795 for full details. It's current location is unknown. It is interesting that the font only names 4 fallen men, whereas the Board, of 2 years earlier (WMO/287804) names 19.
