About the memorial: Brass Plaque for WW1 with an addendum plaque welded on below for WW2, on a marble backboard. The photographs are not really legible. This church is currently used by the Glasgow Evangelical Church. Up until the 1970s it was used by the Barony North Church (formerly Barony United Free Church until 1929) but they chose to dissolve in 1979 rather than merge and their memorials were left in the church. Luckily the new owners have retained the memorials. Prior to 1941 the Barony North Church worshiped across the square until their church was destroyed by fire and this building was the Cathedral Square Church. In 1941 Cathedral Square merged with Regent Place Church in Dennistoun
