About the memorial: Two gun metal plaques in a wooden frame, 1 for each war, the frame possibly made after WW2. The upper plaque has a domed top, which is echoed by the backboard. The font, which is part of the WW2 memorial, is very plain with the cross of St George raised in half relief in a sunken circle on one face. This Church was Presbyterian until the United Reformed Church was formed in 1972, and was renamed to Northgate Church in 1975.
