About the memorial: 3 bladed propellor with dedicatory plaques on each blade, upper two blades with names, placed on a circular board with wooden surround. At the centre of the blades is a decorative laurel wreath enclosing a dove, similar to the logo on Rolls Royce Aero Engines. It was originally sited outside the building or workshop where the bomb hit. It is now inside the same building to prevent deterioration, in the main build hall.
