About the memorial: Book of Remembrance. It is bound in red leather with a gold cross tooled on the front. The flyleaf is headed by a painting of St. Catherine with the name of the Church forming a circle around her. The dedication below is hand painted in red. There is a page for each month on which the names of those who died are handwritten. The month is in red and the names and the year are in black. The book sits in a very plain glass-topped oak showcase below the plaque for 1914-18. The Thompson of Kilburn mouse is at the bottom of the left front leg. It is under the WW1 memorial board (WMO/253859). The names are arranged by month of death, then alphabetically, and show the year of death, so the Korean war death is shown in the middle of the names, not separately, identifiable by the year of death.
