About the memorial: Two matching Rolls of Honour each bearing half the names. At centre top is a badge with the name of the church below. Beneath this is a swag on which is an open book. On either side is a laurel wreath surrounding a lamp with a flame. At bottom left on one roll is a picture of St. George bearing a sword aloft. On the other is an angel holding aloft a laurel wreath. The names are listed in three columns on each, the whole is printed using elaborate lettering for the titles and dedication and lower case lettering for the names. Reference M/Cr 296 1 and 2. Relocated when the former Wesleyan Church closed upon all Methodist worship in Crook being concentrated in the Dawson Street (formerly Primitive Methodist) Church. There are a total of 124 names of whom 22 fell.
