About the memorial: Wall clock 1 foot 3 inches in diameter with figures in Roman numerals set in a dark oak case. There is a brass plaque fixed to the bottom edge which bears the dedication. Lettering is incised and blackened. Below this is another brass plaque. This has a wide raised edge with rounded interior corners. Lettering is hand painted using a mixture of letters. It was originally in Harwood Methodist Chapel (a settlement further up the dale), which closed in the 1980's. Forest Chapel itself closed on 20 October 2019. The current location of the clock is unknown. Hopefully it moved to Middleton-in-Teesdale Methodist Church
