About the memorial: A framed calligraphic vellum parchment, originally displayed in the Board Room at Hammersmith, relating the preparations for D-Day which took place at St Paul's School in 1944. Possibly a replacement for WMO/289079, which has similar wording.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

IN THIS ROOM, / his personal office, he put the final touches to / his plan for the Normandy Landing of June 1944. / IN THIS BUILDING he conducted on 15th / May 1944 his final briefing Conference for the / Senior Allied Commanders of the Sea, Land / & Air Forces in the presence of His Majesty / King George VIth, the Prime Minister, the / Rt. Hon. Sir Winston Spencer Churchill, K.G. / & the Supreme Allied Commander General / of the Army Dwight D. Eisenhower.
