About the memorial: Two oval black metal plaques with inscriptions in white lettering. Each is topped by a white incised sword of sacrifice within a laurel wreath. Between these is a white stone tablet with inscription in red lettering. The two churches merged in 1972 and the Trinity building was converted into flats. The pictured memorials are clearly from the two churches - the WW2 names are different, but there is no indication which is which. The matching metal plaques could in any case count as one For these reasons a single overall entry was made on the IWM Register and has been repeated here. If anyone has local knowledge to make the necessary differentiation please make the appropriate adjustments.
