About the memorial: This memorial consists of two elements . Firstly the leftmost of a two light stained and painted glass window . The light depicts the full length standing figure of St George with a halo , holding a kite shaped shield bearing the cross of St George and a spear .At the base of the light is the commemoration in black gothic lettering .( The rightmost light is in a similar style but the death of the individual commemorated was not conflict related .) Secondly below the leftmost light is a brass plaque commemorating another related individual .
