About the memorial: Illuminated and illustrated Paper Roll of Honour, in a glazed wooden frame. The dates 1914 and 1919 are shown on fanciful shields. The motto "For King & Country" is on a scroll backed by 8 allied flags and surmounted by the royal arms- English version. Formerly at Royal Mail Scotland Headquarters, 102 West Port, Edinburgh.

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant you should complete the Pre-application enquiry form. You will need to be registered and logged in to complete this.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.

You can save your Pre-application enquiry form as you go along. Once submitted War Memorials Trust will respond.

1914 1919/FOR KING & COUNTRY/ROLL OF HONOUR/MEMBERS OF ACCOUNTANTS STAFF GPO/SERVING WITH HIS MAJESTY'S FORCES/(68 Names of whom 15 fell). The man named as F J Osbon is correct (he is not missing an 'r' or an 'e' from his name)- he died on 28 June 1915 in Gallipoli.
