About the memorial: An oblong recumbent limestone tablet added to a CWGC grave. The grave features the CWGC headstone for Captain G Blackburn [which is not a war memorial] and oblong limestone kerbs at the head and both sides. At the foot the kerbs are terminated with ogee mouldings and the recumbent tablet is placed between them. It bears an incised inscription in upright capital roman lettering coloured black. The grave location is Section c, grave 1418 [source- CWGC]
