About the memorial: Copper plaque, white text. The top of the plaque has a colour image of the United States flag, British flag, and the flag of the USSR with a banner reading 'THE UNITED NATIONS'. On the left side of this is the date 1939, and on the right is the date 1945. Underneath is a commemoration to the men of the South Normanton Miner's Welfare Social Club who served in the Second World War, and under that is a list of names. Under the names is a quote from John 15:13. It is on the wall next to the Parish WW1 window (WMO/278851), but was in all probability originally in the club before it closed.

The Pre-application enquiry form is a series of questions to see if your project is eligible. If it is, you will need to provide further details and submit current colour photographs of the war memorial in either a png, gif, jpg or jpeg format.
