About the memorial: An oblong white marble tablet placed flat on the surface of a family grave and bearing an inscription inlaid in upright capital roman lettering. The white marble family memorial comprises a headstone and kerbs with limestone chippings on the enclosed surface. CWGC give his full name of Arthur James Vernon Piper.
