About the memorial: An addition to a the lettering on a family gravestone. The low, roughly dressed granite headstone has a shallow arched top with stepped corners and is accompanied by roughly dressed oblong limestone kerbs. The inlaid inscription is in upright capital block lettering on the dressed faces of the headstone and kerb tops. The memorial is northeast of the church in the churchyard extension.
