About the memorial: An addition to a white marble headstone on a family grave. The headstone has a flat top with stepped corners and a rebated panel at each side bearing a tall slender cross over a small panel of foliage in relief. The inlaid inscription is in upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts a plain oblong base and is accompanied by oblong kerbstones. It is east of the chapel, up the hill towards the woodland.
