About the memorial: An addition to the lettering on a grey granite headstone on a family grave. The tall headstone has a pointed arch top with chamfered edges, recessed sides, a design of incised foliation at the head and a geometric pattern at the sides, and has the inscription incised in upright capital block lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong granite base and rests on stone (possibly sandstone) kerbs that have the maker’s mark incised on the internal face.
