About the memorial: A 'loose' metal plaque found on the window sill. By August 2022 it is now attached to the foot of the window. The plaque is associated with a pre-existing memorial window to other family members. There is also a memorial at St Thomas' Church WMO/272867. According to CWGC he was born in India and had family connections in Hampstead. He is commemorated on 6 different memorials in the Harrow and London areas-WMO/11268, 167199, 230702, 259586, 291273 and 291724. The window is NOT part of this memorial, or indeed a war memorial at all. It is a memorial to Edward James Sinkinson BCS LLD (16 July 1849 Kendal to 1 January 1893 Darjeeling) who was Financial Secretary to the Indian Government and also to his four infant sons (brothers of Captain Evelyn Henry le Mesurier Sinkinson)- Lionel, baby Cyril, Cecil and Alwyn. This is the 6th window from west on the south wall.
